The Duke of Edinburgh

DOE Supporters Dinner.jpg

One of our pupils, Ewan Pryor, as well as our DofE co-ordinator Mr Steadman, were recently invited to attend a supporter’s dinner hosted by the Duke of Edinburgh Award at Bolesworth Castle in Tattenhall.

This special dinner was held in honour of all of the DofE supporters in the Northwest Region in order to showcase DofE activity as well as to thank all those who have supported the award.

Ewan was selected as a DofE young speaker, and gave a well-received speech which highlighted his own experiences of taking part in the award, as well as the benefits of the award, not only for himself, but also for Archers Brook. Both Ewan and Mr Steadman were privileged to meet HRH Prince Edward at the dinner, which was certainly a memorable experience.
