Magic Breakfast

BREAKFAST CLUB

At the present time the School is part of the Magic Breakfast scheme.  For the previous two years, this project was Government funded and was free to schools who met the criteria, which was schools who had a high percentage of FSM, this year the School have had to make a donation as the funding is no longer available.

Various times during the week, bagels, fresh fruit, fruit juice and cereals are delivered, this enables the School to run a very successful Breakfast Club for all pupils. From January 2020, Heinz are supplying to Magic Breakfast, (and in turn schools) Baked Beans.

It also ensures all pupils start the day by having had a drink and some nourishing food to eat, which gives them the energy to concentrate in the class and do well in lessons.

Amazon Delivering Smiles is a joint project between Magic Breakfast and Amazon, to enable them to have the opportunity to recognise the work of the best schools, as nominated by the School’s Partner at Magic Breakfast.

Magic Breakfast nominated our School to receive an Amazon Delivering Smiles reward for all our hard work in making sure that our vulnerable children and practically all the School have breakfast every morning!!  Magic Breakfast are constantly amazed at the level of support our School gives to our pupils and all with a smile!!

The donated funds have been gratefully received.  Pupils have had the opportunity to experience different activities including a visit to the theatre, sporting activities, going to see a pantomime. It has enabled the School to purchase additional resources within the classrooms and Christmas treats for pupils.

Within the donation conditions we were able to purchase a small Christmas gift for staff which helped boost morale and made them smile.

We would like to thank Amazon and Magic Breakfast for continuing to support us. This generous gift was a lovely surprise for pupils and staff and added a bit of magic and a sparkle at Christmas time.
