Temporary ICT Teacher - MATERNITY COVER

(for up to 12 months from October 2023)

Salary - Main pay scale plus SEN 1 Allowance

Archers Brook SEMH Residential School presently has provision for day pupils alongside a Residential provision from KS2 – KS4 (year 5 -11).

We are a good school with outstanding outcomes for children in all areas – (Ofsted 2018).

Archers Brook SEMH Residential School are looking to recruit an outstanding, enthusiastic and hardworking ICT Teacher for maternity cover to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher who wishes to contribute fully to school life, developing and inspiring all students with their subject passion. 

We aim to appoint someone who:

  • Has experience of working in an SEN environment with a range of additional needs
  • Will work as part of a team
  • Enjoys a working partnership with parents and colleagues
  • Adheres to safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Is confident in the use of Computing and Media Technology to enhance teaching and learning
  • Had the ability to deliver and prepare the pupils for accredited courses including Entry Level Qualifications, online E Safety and NCFE – Occupational Studies in the Workplace.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach the core subject across Key Stages 2 – 4, they will play an active part in the life of the department and be willing to supporting extra-curricular opportunities.The Candidate should ensure they identify their personal and professional qualities, curriculum strengths, knowledge and the skills and experience they will bring to this post.
